Proclaiming Good News to All Generations

Outdoor Worship Begins June 14

Beginning Sunday June 14 and continuing throughout the summer months, Immanuel will hold one service each Lord’s Day at 4pm.  Everyone is welcome to join us in person on the church property.  The service will also be live streamed here for anyone who feels it would be unwise to join us in person.

The services will be held outside in the open air, a setting where experts seem to agree that the risk of virus transmission is dramatically lowered.  With the pulpit situated at the far end of the rear parking lot, there will be vast amounts of shaded area radiating outward on both the side and rear of the building.  Worshipers should plan to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and sit as families at a 6 foot social distance from each other.

The church building will be open to provide access to the bathrooms and nursery only.  The nursery will not be staffed but will be available for use by nursing mothers and for diaper changing.  The kitchen, sanctuary, and foyer area will be closed to foot traffic. Please bring necessary food and drink with you.

If the forecast calls for inclement weather, we will transition the service for the day back to the online format that we have been for the past few months only at 4pm.

We encourage those who don’t feel very worried about the virus to err on the side of charity and respect by keeping your distance from those who might feel more cautious especially when inside the building.

Sunday School has returned! Join us at 10:00 am each Sunday morning in the fall, winter, and spring. Then come worship with us at our 11:00 am service. Can't join us in person? Click here to watch the livestream.
