Immanuel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Medford, New Jersey

Proclaiming Good News to All Generations

I’m New Here

Whether you are merely curious or seriously seeking a “church home,” you are very welcome at Immanuel. We care deeply about the gospel of Jesus Christ, and seek to be a loving community of believers.

What to Expect

A Family Atmosphere

We are a small and growing congregation. Many of us are young couples in our 20s and 30s with young children and babies, but all ages are represented among us. We meet for worship each Sunday in the Medford Memorial Community Center. This historic, 19th century building has been beautifully restored and has an intimate, homey feel to it. It is a place where people can welcome each other and catch up with each other’s lives. People tend to stick around long after the end of the service enjoying conversation and the weekly refreshments. Once a month we have a family-style fellowship meal after worship.

A Commitment to the Gospel

We emphasize the centrality of Christ in our faith and life. Our worship of God is simple and reverent. We sing hymns from the Trinity Hymnal as well as some newer songs. Before the pastoral prayer, people in the congregation may share prayer requests. Sermons are typically 30 minutes long and focus on explaining the meaning of Biblical passages and applying them to our hearts and lives. Once a month we celebrate communion, also known as the Lord’s Supper.
